Poker Aces refers to two aces being dealt before theflop. It is the strongest possible before theflop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But despite this a large number of competitors find themselves on the losing end when given these cards.
When you’re given a set of Aces, you just do not fold before theflop. You are positioned with the greatest achievable hand at this part of the game. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I’d say no to that.
Always remember, you are trying to generate as much profit out of this strong position. You will want to maximise the possibility. Going all-in will merely scare most individuals into folding before placing a wager.
If you are in the early position (1st or second to cast a bet), you’ll make a single bet. Anyone with good cards will call, hopefully somebody may raise. If there has been a raise do not hop to re-raise or call, pause for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your plan will be to eliminate anybody that could be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise boldly, if you’re fortunate you’ll fool 1 player into thinking that you are faking it.
If you’re in the middle or late position (one of the last to cast a bet) you’ll observe as every player calls and then raise. Even though you are holding a pair of aces, if you can try to avert a show-down. Protect your hand by forcing the other players fold after the flop. If you do not drive out your competitors you risk squandering your hand.
