Have you viewed the new PokerPro texas hold’em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about two weeks back when I took a short trip with my mom to the WinStar Gambling house in Oklahoma.

As I waited for my turn to be acknowledged at the live tables, I noticed how the other individuals around the PokerPro tables interacted with one another. It was quite interesting to say the least. Since the poker table was controlled by a computer, there were no clay poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the real live encounter was stale. Maybe I was the only one that recognized this, but I did notice the gamblers in the table had a lifeless high quality to them. The reason behind this may be since there was no human conversation with the croupier, the environment was relatively dull and the gamblers looked bored stiff. It was almost as if I was looking at a live variation of an online texas hold em poker room rather than sitting with warm bodied humans. It was a little bit spooky and I kept flashing back to an episode of The Next Generation and the holodeck malfunctioned.

Soon after playing a couple of hands, I genuinely felt like I was wagering at residence. The lack of activity at the table was the primary reason. I like to shuffle and stack my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are feasible at these electronic tables.

Another thing I noticed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I played a lot of hands at the PokerPro table and noticed that the bet on was a great deal like a web based texas hold em poker website. That could have been just a coincidence, except I found it to become really odd.

Right after playing a few rounds with this "unique hold’em poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables had been not for me. I’m much better off betting hold em poker on the web at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling den had been to get rid of the stay poker tables, I think they would shed a whole lot of gamblers.
