Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the wild west in a great game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that players wager with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don’t need to worry about any other, more skillful individuals winning their cash.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game pace, beginners are able to take their time and plan without having to make quick choices.

It’s also easier to participate in for a very long time with only a little amount of money after all, to lose, both of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the house is dealt seven cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
