Internet poker has become world famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several variants on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to 21 than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier saying "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players receive five cards each. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you must either make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s value is akin to your beginning wager, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes directly to the bank. After the bet is the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, including an amount in accordance with the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The house pony’s up cash even with your wager and controlled odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
