Internet poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the casino rather than each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little conniving or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the other players acquire five cards. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s initial card, you must in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s value is akin to your original wager, which means that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your bet goes instantly to the dealer. After the bet is the conclusion. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus a sum in accordance with the ante. If the house does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The casino pays out money equal to your initial bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
