Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in a fantastic game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the house, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers wager with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to fret about other, more advanced gamblers winning their money.
A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game pace, newcomers can take their time and scheme while not needing to make hasty decisions.
It is also easier to wager on for a very long time with just a tiny amount of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands must be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the dealer is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
