For a match where most players rarely consider good luck, there are tons of superstitions in poker. When you say that an individual was lucky in that poker tournament they captured, be mindful of how you say it. For example, if you mention that you were unlucky, your fortune may not change.
Ok, that may appear to be a bit ubsurd, but poker is a game armed with superstitions. Did you realize that if you are gambling a game with two different decks and you are asked to select the deck, you should always select the deck of cards that’s furthest from you? Or, what If you get a streak of bad cards, you must settle on a hankerchief to break your bad luck? It is actually thought of as good luck to blow through a deck of cards when they are being shuffled.
A few other interesting poker folklores are:
- You will be able to change the run of cards by passing around your chair three times.
- The most beneficial spot at the poker table looks at the entry.
- The unluckiest chair has its rear to a fireplace.
- When switching chairs, you should always do so following the clock.
- The worst poker card is the four of clubs.
- It is very unlucky to sit with your legs crossed at the poker table.
- Friday is a terrible day for gambling on cards.
- The thirteenth is also a horrible day, regardless of what day of the week it is.
